Blood and Covenant

Left orphaned by a rival clan as a child, twenty-four-year-old beast slayer Saoirse yearns for the love and approval of her surrogate father and the other pious clerics of the Citadel. Driven by this desire, she jumps at the chance to take on the impossible mission of securing the powerful Ouroboros Ring, an ancient artifact that could doom mankind if it falls into the hands of a mortal-hating sorceress. To retrieve the ring, Saoirse must navigate a treacherous landscape filled with bloodthirsty creatures. As the three journey across the realm, the tension between Saoirse and Brythan escalates into an irresistible attraction, despite Saoirse’s anger and hurt feelings after learning Brythan’s a taken man. But when Saoirse must choose between obtaining the ring to become a hero of the Citadel or abandoning her duty to run away with Brythan, she learns some love is tainted and who she thought a lover could be her ruin.
